Well here we go again….another festival year only this year we are celebrating our 5th year. Our biggest and best year yet (we say that every year don’t we – but we really mean it). We are thrilled to see so many wonderful filmmakers getting involved in TweetFest again this year and submitting their work. We hope yours is chosen!
Our judges have started to watch the first rounds of submissions and get their X Factor judging hats on. As always we give them lots of time to enjoy all the hard work and effort that our submitters put in to making a great short.
And just remember, if you enter, your short is watched by multiple judges every time. So you’ll always know two things – your film is watched, and it’s fairly judged (typically a minimum of 3 judges) every time. We feel particularly passionate about this!
The festival dates for this year are the 9th, 10th and 12th of November with our festival starting at the fabulous Hen and Chicken Theatre (with a brilliant downstairs bar for networking) and wrapping up at the iconic Hackney Picturehouse for a star-studded gala with press, reviews and our wonderful photographer Isaac Peral. We hope you can make some of the dates and enjoy everything from documentaries and animation to the absurd and surreal dramas that will be on the big screen. And remember we even celebrate our female filmmakers with the F-Rated category as well.
