We have our fifth annual TweetFest Film Festival coming up in November and we are pretty excited to announce that this year in between screening our incredible Official Selection shorts, we also have a Casting Director Q&A, a filmmaker panel, and some Q&A’s with the filmmakers who are part the festival, including our F-Rated filmmakers. Read on to find out who will be joining us.
We are thrilled to announce that it’s time to get tickets to the hottest little short film festival in town.
Thank you to everyone who entered TweetFest Film Festival for 2019. The shorts entered were incredible and honestly we feel like we would have loved to have screened even more than the 50 that have already been officially selected – so many good shorts!
You can now buy tickets to any of the Saturday the 9th Nov or Sunday the 10th Nov screenings and talks, and can even book more than one session together for added value. And you can get tickets to the Gala for Tues 12th Nov.
And because we are all about helping filmmakers and actors connect with industry professionals, we are also including a few panels. We are bringing in Catriona Dickie on Saturday, who is one of Nina Gold’s Associates, to do a Casting Director Q&A. Catriona helped cast feature films including JUSTICE LEAGUE, ALL THE MONEY IN THE WORLD, and most recently EUROVISION for Netflix, and her TV casting credits include FOUR WEDDINGS AND A FUNERAL, DEFENDING THE GUILTY, SENSE8 and BERLIN STATION.
And on the Sunday we are hosting an incredible Filmmaker Panel on making the leap from short films to feature films with Leon Clarance, producer of Netflix’s SENSE8 and KODACHROME (Ed Harris, Elizabeth Olsen), Giles Alderson (well-known from the FilmmakersPodcast and MakeYourFilm events) who directed KNIGHTS OF CAMELOT for Signature Entertainment as well as his debut THE DARE, Thembisa Cochrane, producer of US AMONG THE STONES (which premiered at BFI’s London Film Festival 2019) and Neil Mcenery-West, director of CONTAINMENT (starring Louise Brealey, Billy Postlethwaite).
