One of our favourite things to do every year is let our filmmakers know that their short is going to be on in TweetFest.
Now in our 7th year, we are really getting the hang of watching short films and hanging out at the cinema for our screenings (with popcorn and wine of course). Over the years we have had more than 20 different VIP jury members watch our finalist shorts. And over 20 of our first round judges watch hundreds of films. Hand on our hearts we can say, every year, we are surprised and delighted by the remarkable filmmakers who keep producing brilliant shorts that blow us away. We hope you’ll feel the same way when you watch this year’s short film line-up.
And on that note, without further ado, here are our Official Selection shorts for 2021. They’re all screening at the fabulous Hen and Chickens Theatre on Sunday the 28th and Monday the 29th Nov, and we would love you to buy a ticket and come and join us.
Plus the gala screening and awards will be taking place at the iconic ArtHouse Cinema (Crouch End) on the 30th November, and some of these shorts will be screening there too. We do hope you can come and celebrate. We have missed everyone over the last 18 months!
