Pitch your film, TV or short idea

This pitching workshop is free to submit. It includes a SMASH pitch session ahead of the panel pitching on Sunday the 10th of November.

How it works:

  1. CREATE a free pitch on SMASH. We require you to submit the logline, format, genre, setting, running time, status, creative team, synopsis, creative vision and comparables although we appreciate they all may be Work In Progress answers. We DO NOT require a script, treatment, cast, budget, finance plan or video, although if you have them you are welcome to include them.
  2. Once you’ve created your SMASH Snapshot, apply directly in-platform to our call-out.
  3. TweetFest Film Festival will choose a shortlist of up to 5 PROJECTS. We will let you know the week of the event if you’ve been selected. Even if you haven’t been chosen, you are welcome to attend the session and watch the finalists work on their pitches in the live workshop.
  4. The SHORTLISTED PROJECTS will attend a free in-person pitch preparation session with SMASH at the Hen & Chickens Theatre in London on Sunday the 10th of November at 12:30 for 1 hour. Come prepared with your 5-minute live pitch.
  5. The LIVE PITCH is on the same day, 10th of November, and will take place at 3pm for the shortlisted projects! You will get 5 minutes to pitch your project to an INDUSTRY PANEL and receive verbal feedback then and there. No visuals are needed.
