It’s coming up to your last chance to get your short film into TweetFest this year. Our BIFA qualifying short film festival is closing for entries at the end of the month. Which means you won’t be able to submit again until 2026. We are a festival that really cares about its filmmakers and wants you to succeed. We share and celebrate up-and-coming filmmakers from around the UK and want to stay in touch long after your festival journey.

More about our festival: Every year our VIP jury of amazing people has differed, with the panellists including the likes of casting directors, award-winning television and feature directors, writers from The Stage, BAFTA-nominated producers and even Variety Magazine and Hattricks. Our galas and screening days have taken place at Finsbury Park Picturehouse, Hackney Picturehouse, the ArtHouse Cinema and the Hen and Chickens Theatre, some truly magnificent venues to showcase the industry’s finest in short filmmaking. We also offer workshops, networking and filmmaker panels throughout the festival and encourage filmmakers to stay all day and immerse themselves in what TweetFest has to offer – it’s a hub for aspiring and up-and-coming filmmakers launching a long-term career in the industry and making genuine industry connections.
