This year as part of the 10th annual TweetFest Film Festival we are hosting several free workshops and events to encourage networking and to share best practices in filmmaking, with some pitching practice opportunities thrown in for good measure.
Join us and let’s hang out and get to know one another… after all, you can’t make a film by yourself.

Q&A WITH FEMALE (WOMXN) FILMMAKERS HOSTED BY FESTIVAL DIRECTOR ANGELA PETERS
Meet some of the incredible filmmakers behind the shorts being screened this year and in previous years. Meet Once Upon a Time star Georgina Haig (now directing as well), award-winning film and television writer and director Laura Jai Smith, visual media composer Oleta Haffner, and the incredibly talented (and award-winning) writer and actress Zara Symes.

SAT 9TH NOV, 6.00-7.30PM
NETWORK WITH UK ACTORS TWEETUP + TWEETFEST
Join us for some fun and fabulous free networking and drinks between screenings. Networking throughout the festival is one of our favourite things to do.
So why not interrupt your time watching fabulous films and mingle with a few of our friends. We might even have some beers for the first to arrive. And you’ll even get tapped!

PITCHING WORKSHOP WITH SMASH MEDIA (FREE)
We gave our audience the opportunity to pitch their ideas to an industry panel, and 5 have been chosen. Come and join us on Sunday when they’ll do their live pitch. The industry panel includes Zero Gravity Management, Submarine and Dead Pixel Productions – what a panel they’ll be pitching in front of.

SUN 10TH NOV 3.30 – 4.40pm
FILMMAKER AND FESTIVAL DIRECTOR Q&A
Come and hear from industry professionals, Philip Ilson from BAFTA and BIFA qualifying London Short Film Festival (LSFF), Dustin Curtis Murphy from BIFA qualifying KINO, director Stephen Gallacher, and filmmaker and BIFA qualifying EXIT 6 festival director Mark Brennan about how to give yourself the best chance when making a short film and then screening it.
